Unearth Records of Bemidji, Minnesota provides many services such as General Recording, Drums and Percussion Recording, Piano Recording, Guitar/Bass Recording, Brass/Woodwind Recording, Choir Recording, Mixing, Remote Mixing and Mastering.

General Recording Services

$50/hr

This includes any type of vocal, guitar, bass, woodwind, brass or stringed instruments excluding the use of our grand piano.

Drums and Percussion Recording Services

$75/hr

This Includes either the use of our house drumkit and/or percussion or if you choose to you may bring your own.

This session rate is higher due to the amount of labor and equipment needed to record acoustic drums and percussion.

We have the ability to sample your kick and snare sounds from either your own kit or a sample from a VST. Then trigger it via a acoustic drum trigger,

Piano Recording Services

$65/hr

This service includes the use of our house grand piano. A 1896 Decker and Brothers NY 8ft grand.

Mobile Live Recording Services

$125/hr

We offer live mixing and recording services for when you need a engineer to mix your live show or come to your location and record a live session of you or your band.

Mixing Services

Call for Estimate

Since every song/project is different we evaluate each project and quote on a song/project basis. This can just include a simple mixdown of your song all they way to additional overdub sound effects and advanced editing.

Remote Mixing Services

Call for Estimate

In the case where you have already recorded your song/project but need assistance in getting that perfect balanced sound we offer a remote mixing service that includes a free video conference consolation where we take notes on what you invision your project outcome to sound like. Then followed with you uploading your stems to our server. We then take those stems and mix your song/project down in our studio. We upload a full sample to your folder in our server where you can listen to it. We allow 3 mix changes before the hourly general recording rate of $50/hr is applied. Once you are satisfied with your mix and have paid us in full we release the track to be downloaded from our server.

Mastering Services

$50/song

includes Wav file(s) mastered for digital streaming services as well as if you choose to have your project printed to a CD.

We can also aid in helping you upload these masters to any streaming service(s) of your choice for additional cost. As well as help you in getting your songs out on platforms where you can get paid.

Full Service Session

$1000/day

This Package Includes a 12 hour strictly tracking session 8am-10pm with 2 home cooked meals, Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks provided. With this you can focus on your project and leave the food/cleanup to us.

The Tentative Schedule as follows:

8am-12pm: Drum Tracking/Scratch Track

12pm-1pm: Lunch

1pm-3pm: Bass Tracking

3pm-6pm: Guitar Tracking

6pm-7pm: Dinner

7pm-10pm: Vocal Tracking
