Located 15 miles east of Bemidji, Minnesota near the shores of Big Lake, our studio is a environment unlike any other. Music just isn’t what we enjoy but more so it’s apart of our life and our home. Featuring a meticulously kept rare 1896 Decker and Brothers NY concert grand piano, One of a kind Custom maple drum kit, world class technology and a bring the outdoors indoors type of atmosphere. It is destined to be your favorite place to be as a musician/singer/songwriter.

One word...Diffusion.

Compiled of 10,218 (and counting) 1" by 1" wide by x" long blocks individually cut, painted and glued in a specific order for optimum acoustic performance.

Built to diffuse down to 700hz, this allows our control room mix position to be engineered in a way that it still allows for acoustical energy to be present but not over bearing, or vise versa; too dead to the point where it lacks energy from over absorption.

Why not bring the outdoors... indoors...

Decorated with nature, our home revolves around music to the point we have dedicated our main great room to home our Grand Piano, and Drums. We have the ability to use this space to record acoustic instruments. It is a large all wood room with, wood floors and a vaulted ceiling. Acoustic instruments LOVE this room. As well as its a perfect place to record a large and warm sounding vocal.

We all know recording sessions can get long and tiresome. and sometimes a little hot or cold beverage and a snack can help keep your mind clear and focused. This is why we have a complementary beverage and snack bar in our control room with a session of 2 hours or longer. Just remember no food or beverage near the electronics keep it on the designated table.

Isolation Room #1

Atmosphere is everything when trying to achieve the best you. This room, best described as Soothing and Relaxing will allow you to have a dedicated space to write and record. The 1D Diffusion walls are built with rough cut spruce along with a birch pole highlight wall. Isolation Room #1 is designed for close proximity miking of vocals and acoustic instruments. This room has a beautiful upper midrange clarity that allows every intricate detail to be captured.
